Festival Workshop

In the workshop you choose a prepared body and beak from a wide selection of interesting shapes and colours.  I then teach you how to copper foil and solder and attach a  prepared wire crown and legs onto the bird. This creates your very own unique scrappy bird to take home as a wonderful festival memory that will last a life time.

These stained glass workshops create an opportunity to experience a craft that is often inaccessible to most, due to the expensive equipment needed to start this hobby.

This hour long session gives valuable timeout from a busy festival with fun and fellowship, building confidence and self-esteem.

This is a great way to use up the scraps of glass (hence the name scrappy birds) left over from projects, creating less waste for the environment.

Workshops seat up to 10 people, age limit 13yrs old and up.
